2024 KEBBI STATE TEACHERS RECRUITMENT EXERCISE INFORMATION TO APPLICANTS: (A) DESCRIPTION: This recruitment exercise is meant to fill in the vacant positions of Teaching staff in Secondary schools across Kebbi state. It is also aimed at provision of adequate and qualified Teachers for Secondary schools in the State. The recruitment exercise which will be based on merit; is in line with Governor Nasir Idris Administration's commitment to provide quality education through qualified teachers for Secondary schools across the state. (B) IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL APPLICANTS: I. All interested applicants are hereby to note that; this recruitment exercise is completely free, from beginning to completion of the process. II. No Staff of the Ministry or any other person or group of individuals are allowed to collect any amount of money from any applicant in regards to this recruitment exercise, and whoever found wanting will be punished accordingly. III. Any applicant, who engages himself/herself in any act of malpractice such as; (presentation of fake certificates, corruption or any manipulation) in connection with this recruitment exercise, will be disqualified, and punished where necessary. IV. Every applicant is advised to read carefully all application rules and requirements, as failure to meet any requirement may render the defaulter’s application invalid. (C) REQUIRED TEACHERS: Candidates with teaching qualifications in the following Subjects; are required to apply: English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Physical & Health Education PHE, Civic education, Home economics, Islamic studies, and Arabic language, others are; Special education, Wood work, Carpentry & joinery, Metal fabrication, Electrical & electronics, and Mechanical engineering. (D) ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be holders of Teaching qualifications including NCE, B.Sc.-Ed, B.A-Ed, B.Tech Ed, M.Sc.-Ed, MTech Ed and M.A-Ed. Holders of non-teaching qualifications with NCE or PGDE are also qualified to apply. (E) APPLICATION METHOD: Interested candidates must visit the Ministry's Portal www.min-basic-edu-kebbi.com.ng to fill the online application form. (F) RULES OF THE RECRUITMENT: I. Every shortlisted candidate must appear before the selection panel for interview before appointment. II. Only candidates who successfully passed the interview would be appointed. III. After the interview, shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS and Email Addresses. IV. Shortlisted candidates are required to come along with their original credentials for screening. (G) CONDITIONS OF SERVICE: Every Applicant must be willing to accept posting to any suggested school after being appointed into the service. (H) DEADLINE: The Recruitment Portal will be opened on the 8th of June and would be closed on the 22nd of June 2024. By 12:00am midnight. (I) WARNING: Any Candidate who engages himself/herself in any form of recruitment malpractice will be disqualified.
